Heading west, the first beach you will meet after Tsoutsouras is Maridaki (and the seasonal settlement of the same name). This wonderful pebble beach is basically the point of exit of two gorges beginning in Achentrias, meeting in Lichnistis and emptying into the sea through a common bed. In the summer there are taverns and a few rooms to let in Maridaki, which is accessible via water canoe, walking a path which starts from Tsoutsouras, or by car from Achentrias (through a rough dirt road).
